Which type of fastening?Our ironing board covers, come in two types of fastening; drawstring or elasticated. Our drawstring fastening covers are designed to fit securely over your ironing board and are tied in place to reduce movement while ironing. Our elasticated covers are designed to be fast and easy to fit and can even be fitted over the existing cover.

Which cover offers smooth ironing?Our ironing board covers come with two different backings; foam or felt. Foam backing offers a smooth ironing experience, making it easier to push your iron along the board. A felt backing offers a softer, smooth ironing surface with fewer bumps. Our Smooth Glide ironing board covers features a unique silicone strip which means by simply swiping your iron lightly over the strip, a small amount of silicone is released onto your iron base enabling you to "glide" effortlessly through your ironing.

What are metallised covers?

Our metallised ironing board covers have been designed to reflect the heat from your iron upwards from the cover and back into your garment. This speeds up the ironing process as less heat is absorbed into the cover itself. Special perforated surface encourages steam flow for better results.
